Dimraeth Mods: What's Available & How to Install Them
Two weeks into Early Access, Dimraeth already has a small but real mod scene — and no official mod support yet. Here's what exists, where to get it, and how not to break your save.
Quick answer
Yes, Dimraeth has mods. As of late September 2026, Nexus Mods lists 16 Dimraeth mods — mostly quality-of-life and balance tweaks — installed manually or via community mod loaders (the open-source "Grovekeeper" toolkit uses MelonLoader). There is no Steam Workshop support yet. Always back up your save before modding, and expect patches to break mods until authors update them.
Where to get Dimraeth mods
| Source | What it is | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Nexus Mods | The main mod hub — 16 mods at last count, growing weekly | QoL tweaks, balance, item and UI mods |
| Grovekeeper toolkit | Open-source community mod loader built on MelonLoader | Loading code-based mods safely and cleanly |
| WeMod trainer | 17-cheat trainer (health, stamina, resources…) | Single-player experimentation, learning boss patterns |
| Steam Workshop | Not supported yet | Watch the roadmap — nothing announced for EA |
How to install (the safe routine)
- Back up your save first. Dimraeth characters are precious — copy your save folder somewhere safe before touching anything.
- Read the mod page fully. Check it was updated after the latest EA patch; an outdated mod is the #1 cause of broken saves.
- Follow the loader's instructions (Grovekeeper/MelonLoader for code mods; simple file-copy for asset tweaks).
- Add one mod at a time and launch the game between installs — when something breaks you'll know exactly which mod did it.
- After every game patch, assume mods are broken until their pages say otherwise.
Mods and co-op: the honest warning
Dimraeth's co-op syncs a shared world across up to 8 players. Mods that change items, stats or world logic can desync or corrupt that shared world if players run different mod sets. House rules that work: everyone installs the identical mod list, the host backs up the world before sessions, and trainers/cheats stay in single-player. There are no reported bans — Dimraeth has no anti-cheat — but a corrupted 40-hour world needs no ban hammer to ruin your week.
